What you will need to do is browse for the excel application on under c:/programs/office12/excel.

I'm working on a mac, numbers is my spreadsheet program. I downloaded the xml file but I cannot select it to open within that program. When I view the file in safari or textedit it's nonsense. How can I view the Timesheet Review [detailed] report?

    Thanks,
    Kim.

    Hi Kim,

Thanks for reaching out with this. I regret that Excel really is your best option for opening these reports. I will be bringing this up in a convo with our VP of Product though, as I would hope that with XML, other programs would work fine. Perhaps this is something we can address in a future sprint. In the meantime, I'll drop you an email to see if I can be of further help.

    Cheers, Emma

Update for everyone - Kim did some additional research, and has found a free (donations encouraged), open-source program called LibreOffice (libreoffice.org) that is working well for the majority of our XML reports. This is great news, and I hope some of you will be able to take advantage of Kim's efforts on this front!
