Before you can begin utilizing FP's Proofs tool, you will need to make sure you are set up with the proper permissions.
If you do not have access to edit your permissions, you will need to contact your internal FP Administrator to configure these settings for you.
Navigate to Permission Settings
To access Permission settings hover over Admin on the top module, then hover Rate and Staff Management and select Staff, Staff Rates and Permission to change an individuals permissions.
Note: If you would like to make this change to a group of people assigned to a Permission Set, select Permission Sets instead.
If you are editing the permissions for an individual, once you select Staff, Staff Rates and Permissions you will then need to find them on the Admin Staff List. Select the Permissions button to the far right of their row.
Once you have selected the individual or permission set you wish to edit, scroll the list of permissions to find Proof. Check off the box next to this section heading to enable all proofs capabilities, or expand the section to make a custom selection.
Click Save when you are finished with your selection.
Once you have clicked Save, this user or set of users will now have permission to utilize Proofs.
Note: As our Proofs tool is housed within a Task, it is also important users have Task permissions enabled.

Enabling Proofs Alerts
If a user if included as a reviewer on a proof, the will automatically be subscribed to email alerts letting them know they have work to review. However, there are in system alerts which can be customized.
Navigating to Alerts Settings for Individual Users
To customize these alerts for an individual user hover over Admin on the top module, then hover Rate and Staff Management and select Staff, Staff Rates and Permission.
From the Staff Admin page find the user you want to configure alert setting for and select the Staff Details button on their row.
From the Staff Details Page, select Subscriptions along the sub-navigation.
Navigating to Alert Settings for Subscription Sets
To customize the proofs alerts for all users within a subscription set hover over Admin on the top module, then hover over Alert Management and finally select Alert Subscription Sets.
Configuring Proofs Alerts
From the list of Alerts provided through the Staff's Subscriptions or the Subscription Set, navigate to the section titled "Proof" and expand to see more options.
Email alert settings can not be edited, however you can enable in system alerts for when a Proof is Created, Completed, and Awaiting Review based on your connection to the Task itself.
For example: If you check "If Task Assigned to Me" and the in system alert column for "Proof Completed" you will get an in system alert notifying you that when all approvers have submitted a decision on a proof which is assigned to you.
