> ℹ️ **What is an “Event” in Function Point?**
> ℹ️ Events are items that can be exclusively added within the [calendar tool](https://support.functionpoint.com/space/FPL/2366243548/The+FP+Calendar+%26+Filter+Building) in FP to note things happening outside of jobs and projects. They cannot have time tracked to them, but are great for internal events that don’t require assignment or forecasting such as some recurring meetings.

## Commonly Asked Questions

<details>
<summary>Can I integrate with multiple custom calendars?</summary>

Yes! You can subscribe to as many custom calendars as you would like. You could have different calendar for each of your clients, every AE, or every team for example. This will allow you to see them all stacked up in your external calendar or view them one at a time.
</details>

<details>
<summary>Does my calendar subscription ever expire? </summary>

Users will need to re-subscribe to their calendars every 2 years, to align with standard internet calendar provider security recommendations.

Users will also need to re-subscribe if they change their Function Point password, as all calendar URLs include an encrypted login that must be updated should your login credentials change.

Additionally, calendar subscriptions will stop updating for calendars related to staff accounts that have been made inactive.
</details>

<details>
<summary>Can I share my custom calendar URL?</summary>

You can! However, keep in mind that URL is encrypted with your unique login credentials, so should your account ever be made inactive or you change your password, this calendar subscription will stop working for the other using it.
</details>

<details>
<summary>Can I make changes to Tasks, Events or Delivery Dates through my external calendar?</summary>

At the moment, no. All calendar subscriptions will be “read-only”.

However you can easily drag or copy those calendar items to one of your “My Calendars” to make it your own, turn it into a meeting, or get more specific with when you plan to execute it, and none of those changes will effect the FP system.
